Who said what: World reacts to Dhoni stepping down from ODI, T20I captaincy

New Delhi, Jan 5: The sporting fraternity congratulated Mahendra Singh Dhoni on his glorious captaincy career with cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar leading from the front, saying “it’s a day to celebrate his successful career and respect the decision.

Dhoni on Wednesday stunned the cricket fraternity by relinquishing the captaincy barely 11 days before the ODI series against England. Dhoni had earlier stepped down as Captain of India’s Test team. Under Dhoni, India had won a T-20 and ODI World Cup and a Champions Trophy title.
